Faculty and Classroom Integration Tools

For many institutions, integrating voter registration efforts into the classroom is an optimal way to systematically Ask Every Student about their democratic engagement plans. We know that strategically engaging faculty is essential to meaningfully integrate into the classroom. We also understand that for most institutions, the “classroom” will take the form of a Learning Management System, such as Canvas or Blackboard this academic year due to COVID-19.

Use this template to create a module for your campus’ learning management system (LMS). The module can function as a one-stop-shop for students to access information and support for participating in the voting and democratic engagement processes. Faculty can add these onto their class courses and ensure their students have full access to the information that you want students to know.

This module is currently live on the Canvas Commons and you can easily access it through the button below if you use Canvas.

This tool is only compatible with Canvas. However, a great alternative is to edit the Voter Info Walkthrough Template to your context and share the embedding link with faculty to add as a page on their Course.
